Numerous sound samples can be found on this site. Each CD information page has one sample taken from the disc in question, and the samples can be controlled by using the Sound Sample tab at the top of each such page.
Sound samples will begin to play as soon as they have finished downloading. Please be patient, as some of the samples are quite large files. Do please note that, because of the high level of compression used to keep file sizes manageable, the samples you will hear on this site are not representative of the quality of the CDs themselves. Nevertheless, it is hoped that they will give you at least an idea of the kind of clarity and cleanness of sound that Orchestral Concert CDs provide.
This page indexes all the various audio samples to be found on this site.
This site hosts a couple of audio interviews: one with recording engineer Geoffrey Terry, about his approach to recording concerts, and another with pianist Peter Katin, concerning his performance of Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto no 3.
